James Macfarlane grabs his bucket and spade as he heads to Weymouth in Dorset for a spot of seaside fun, fossil hunting and sun seeking…

What could be better than lounging on a beach with nothing to do but lap up that quickly melting ice cream; keeping a watchful eye out for the odd hungry seagull of course! Good old ‘Blighty has a pick n mix of beaches to choose from around its coastline, but today we’re pointing you in the direction of Weymouth for your seaside break. All you need now is for the sun to put its hat on and you’re away!
