Hluboka Castle – Hluboka Castle was established in the 20th century and was later remodelled in imitation of British royal residence, Windsor Castle!
Białowieża Forest – This is the largest remaining part of an immense primeval forest that once stretched across the European Plain.
The Alhambra – Wonder at this old Moorish palace and fortress complex whose name comes from an Arabic root which means ‘red or crimson castle’!
Blue Caves – Relax on a boat as you enter these stunning wave-etched caverns which have been popular since their discovery back in 1897.
Burano Island – Famous for its colourful fishermen’s cottages which are reflected into the green waters of numerous interwoven canals.
Glacier Express – This scenic train will take you through mountains, deep gorges, 91 tunnels and across 291 bridges, all in approximately 7 hours.
Plitvice Waterfalls – A European Niagara Falls but MUCH less well known – a large network of breathtaking lakes and waterfalls.
Museum Island – 5 world-renowned museums can be found on this island on the River Spree. Classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site!
