Wake up to seeing over 100 hot air balloons soar over the city of Bristol or head on over to Ashton Court (just over the suspension bridge) to watch the ascents of the colourful array of participants. The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is Europe’s largest annual meeting of hot air balloons and a Fiesta well worth a visit.

Following last year’s success when headlined by Massive Attack, The Downs Festival is looking forward to pulling the crowds once more. This year Elbow will headline the main stage and there will also be many local bands impressing the crowds throughout the day.
